Job Description
The City of Shelbyville is accepting applications for the position of Truck Driver - Sanitation (Full-Time) for the Public Works Department. Work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm.
Qualified applicants must:
➢ Valid Commercial Operator’s License issued by the State of Tennessee.
➢ CDLA required.
➢ Minimum of three (3) years’ experience operating heavy duty trucks and /or equipment.
➢ Must pass a background check, physical and drug screening.
➢ Must possess, and maintain, a valid Tennessee driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Applications and a copy of job description may be picked up at City Hall during normal business hours. Applications and signed job description must be returned to City Hall Administration Office, 201 N. Spring Street no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
